Balalalalala

Hello and welcome back! Sorry for the delay with last week's Disney Dinner Movie Night! We had a great time in Iowa last week going on so many fun and exciting adventures! But we are back and all settled in.
For our movie we watched

And thanks to my parents and sister, we had an awesome dinner!

We had Hiros, microbots (grapes), Fred's Fan Boy French Fries, Aunt Cass' wings, and Go Go Tomago Pasta Salad.

For our drink we had Honey Lemon-ade

For our activity we blew up balloons and created our own Baymax!

For our dessert we went out back and made Smores!
At first he was unsure of the fire but he quickly became excited over his Smores!

And finally you can't get through Big Hero 6 without perfecting the Fist Bump.

Until next time!

Silly Old Bear.

First off so sorry this is late. Been busy all week getting ready to visit my family in Iowa (hi family!) .
Last week we got to see our favorite honey loving bear come to life with the release of Christopher Robin. To celebrate, our Disney Dinner Movie Night was...
Winnie the Pooh!

And here was our dinner
Honey ham sandwiches, carrots, and Gophers wood chips (BBQ chips).

And dessert we orange sherbet with Tigger stripes!

For our activity, we of course had to play Pin the Tail on the Eeyore! Sebastian thought it was so much fun!
He even gave it a try wearing a blindfold!

Nothing beats a cuddle from a couple of friends!

Stay tune next week for a special road Trip edition of Disney Dinner Movie Night!
Until next time!

You're a Wizard Harry

21 years ago, Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone was released and quickly a new fandom was formed. Fans of all different ages all over the world fell in love with the Wizarding World JK Rowlkng created.

July 31st was Harry Potter's birthday and we took the opportunity to celebrate and enjoy a Harry Potter marathon thanks to the SciFi channel.
However this year, it fell on Taco Tuesday so instead of a classic Fish and Chips meal, we had to add a Taco twist to it. Here is our meal from the day.
For dinner itself we had shrimp tacos with a Butter beer to drink .

And dessert we had a cake, chocolate frog and Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Jelly Beans.
Sebastian even helped decorate the cake!

We did two activities today. Our first one was a form of Quidditch. It didn't go quite as plan but Sebastian had a blast throwing the ball into the water without going through the hoops. Our second activity, Sebastian picked his wand.
He thought it was the coolest thing running around being a wizard!

Sunday we will be back to our usual Disney Dinner Movie Night.
Until next time!

We must be Swift as the Coursing River...

With all the force of a great Typhoon.  With all the strength of a raging fire Mysterious as the dark side of the moon!
I'm sure most of us can agree that is an amazing song from this week's Disney Dinner Movie Night. I know I'm upset it appears to be cut from the upcoming live action movie.
If you haven't guessed yet, this week's movie was...
Mulan!

And for dinner we had...
We actually cheated and ordered Chinese food.

My plate consisted of Orange Chicken and Broccoli. Michael had Chicken and Broccoli as well as wontons.

Sebastian had a little of everything and enjoyed it all!

For a craft we made our very own Chinese dragon.
Sebastian especially loved picking out the ribbons for the dragons tail and hair.
Once it was all put together, Sebastian gave the dragon a dance lesson.

Word of advice, make sure the sticks are finished drying before handing off to a toddler.

Hope everyone has a fun week! Stay tuned for a special midweek post celebrating Harry Potters birthday!

Until next time!

Ohana Means Family

And family means nobody gets left behind... Or forgotten.

Hello and welcome back to another edition of Disney Dinner Movie Night. This week we watched...
Lilo and Stitch!

This is one of my favorite movies!
Here is what we had for dinner.

The main course was pineapple shrimp on skewers, Hawaiian Fried Rice and Grilled Spam

To drink we had Stitch Juice

And for dessert we had peanut butter and banana cookies.

For our activity, Sebastian did a Hula dance... Or at least his version of one.

And with that another fun week is in the books.
Until next time!

NO CAPES!

Of course to a two year old, capes are amazing!

Welcome back to another night of Disney Dinner Movie! If you haven't guessed, tonight's movie is
The Incredibles!

And here is the dinner.
We replicated the meal Dash was eating during Leftover Night of steak and mashed potatoes. We included part of Jack Jack's meal of Macaroni of Cheese. For our drink we have a blue frozen drink.
We did two activities tonight. The first was "blending in" with everyone else by going bowling!
It is so much more fun crashing into the pins then throwing a bowling ball.
Afterwards it was time to get our disguises ready by decorating our masks. Sebastian helped take pictures of Michael and I creating our masks.
Super Family!
Sebastian had a blast flying around being a superhero! Even if he broke the No Cape rule.
Here are a few videos of him in action. If you listen carefully you can hear him going "whoosh"

Hope everyone has an Incredible week!
Until next time!

Hakuna Matata what a wonderful phrase!

Hakuna Matata ain't no passing craze!
Hello everyone and welcome back! This week for Disney Dinner Movie Night we watched

Lion King! Sebastian is a huge fan of Disney Juniors Lion Guard so it came as no surprise that he enjoyed watching the Lion King as well.  Here is what we had for dinner .

Our food was Peri Peri African Chicken, South African Yellow Rice, Fried Plantains and Ants on a Log
For a drink we had Bug Juice!
After dinner we went on a Safari!
